One Storage Facility, Many Neighbors: The Communities Lakeland Mini-Storage is Proud to Serve

There’s something a little different about running a small business in rural Ashtabula County. Your customers aren’t strangers — they’re the people you see at the diner, the parents cheering at the same ballfields, the neighbors you wave to on the way out of town. At Lakeland Mini-Storage, that’s always been the point. We’re not a national chain with a call center and an app. We’re a locally owned facility on East Main Street in Andover, Ohio, and we’ve been showing up for this community since 1990.

Over the years, “this community” has grown to mean a lot of different places. People drive to us from all corners of Ashtabula County and across the Pennsylvania border, and we think that’s worth talking about.

Pymatuning Lake & the Andover Area

Our home base is Andover, and it’s no secret that life around Pymatuning Lake comes with a lot of gear. Fishing tackle, camping equipment, kayak accessories, off-season sporting goods — the lake lifestyle is wonderful, but it takes up space. We’ve been the go-to storage solution for Andover residents and Pymatuning-area seasonal visitors for decades, and we’re glad for every single one of them.

Williamsfield

Just a short hop south of Andover, Williamsfield is one of our closest neighbors and one of the communities we serve most regularly. Residents out that way know the drive to Andover is nothing, and we’re glad to be their storage facility of choice when life requires a little extra room.

Jefferson

Ashtabula County’s seat is one of the larger communities in our service area, and Jefferson residents making the drive down Route 6 toward Andover will tell you it’s well worth it. Whether it’s a household making room for a life change or someone who just needs a clean, secure unit at a fair price, we’re ready when Jefferson calls.

Pierpont, Dorset & Richmond

Out on Route 7, the farmland stretches wide and the communities are small and close-knit. Pierpont, Dorset, and Richmond are exactly the kind of places where people look out for each other — and where a locally owned storage facility feels like a natural fit. The drive down Route 7 into Andover is a pleasant one, and we’re always glad to see new faces from that part of the county.

Roaming Shores, Rock Creek & Beyond

Ashtabula County is big, and we know our reach extends well beyond the towns closest to us. Residents from communities throughout the county have found their way to Lakeland Mini-Storage when the big-box storage options elsewhere didn’t feel right — or simply weren’t as convenient as a straight shot to Andover.

And Into Pennsylvania

Our service area doesn’t stop at the state line. Residents in Linesville and the Jamestown area of western Pennsylvania have trusted us for years, and we’re proud of those relationships. When the closest quality storage option is just across the border in Ohio, we’re glad to be that option.

What all of these communities have in common

Whether you’re in Andover or an hour away, what brings people to Lakeland Mini-Storage is pretty consistent: they want a clean, secure unit at a fair price, from a facility that actually has staff in the office. No runaround, no hidden fees, no voicemail maze. Just a real place with real people, drive-up access, and unit sizes ranging from a compact 5×5 all the way up to a roomy 10×20.

We’ve been doing this for over 35 years because we think that’s what a storage facility is supposed to be. If you’re somewhere in our corner of northeastern Ohio — or just over the border in Pennsylvania — we’d love to earn your business.
